Opportunity

During spring 2022, the legendary Lithuanian basketball players Kšištof and Darjuš Lavrinovič, AKA the LavTwins, called time on their epic careers. With so many successes, teammates, and adventures, the world’s tallest twins weren’t content to fade into the background and viewed the end of their careers on the court as an opportunity to do something extra special.

Initially, the famous brothers had the idea to create an exhibition match, inviting close friends and family members only, but we knew that together we could make it something the entire nation could enjoy. And together, we did exactly that!

The basketball feast of the year

We wanted to help the LavTwins end their careers with something truly memorable, and to do so it would take the first event of its kind in Lithuania! We invited some of the most iconic Lithuanian basketball stars to come together for one last match with the LavTwins, and to spread the news of their participation in the event across social media, the BasketNews.lt podcast, TV, radio, and press.

Our creation, Broliai. Karjeros Finalas, attracted 7,000 live attendees at the Avia Solutions Group Arena, with 400,000 viewers also tuning in across TV and online channels to witness a basketball event that appealed to every generation of fan. Not only was it the most memorable Lithuanian basketball event of 2022, but it served a very special cause too. That’s because Kšištof and Darjuš donated €10,000 from the event’s proceeds to children affected by the war in Ukraine — demonstrating the true power of sport in our global community.
