Helping Children Heal with BC Wolves

Opportunity

We’re always willing to hop on a mission to help the most vulnerable ones. The collaboration with a Lithuanian basketball club BC Wolves has provided us with an excellent opportunity for this.
BC Wolves came to us with a request to create a social campaign supporting hospitalized kids in the most unique, kind, and creative way possible. Through the campaign, they also wanted to engage their fans, strengthen the club’s community, and humanize their brand.

Kids supporting kids

After initial brainstorming, we realized one thing: we wanted to make the campaign 100% real and heartwarming. And what could be truer than other children sending their best wishes and support to their peers?

That’s how we came up with the idea of organizing a drawing competition and inviting kids to send their works reimagining the BC Wolves’ logo. The club then selected the drawings they liked most, and our design team created unique basketball uniforms by designing and printing children’s works on them. The biggest challenge was putting the pictures on the uniforms so that they wouldn’t look out of place and prepare them for final production.

Eventually, the BC Wolves team wore those uniforms during their first-ever match with BC Žalgiris (which they won — the uniforms surely provided the players with some superpowers!) and sold them at auction right after it. The money collected during the auction was donated to children with serious illnesses through Rimantas Kaukėnas Support Group.
